Benjamin Campbell
CEO
Ben Campbell has more than 30 years of experience in the securities and banking industries, where he has established an outstanding track record in building trading operations and creating short-term investment strategies.
As CEO and Founder of Capital Advisors Group, Ben plays an active role in both the Company’s overall business strategy and in overseeing its investment portfolios, product development, and client relationship management efforts. He also acts as Chief Investment Officer.
Ben is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has been quoted in publications such as Treasury & Risk and the Wall Street Journal. In June 2011, Ben was named one of the “100 Most Influential People in Finance” by Treasury & Risk for Capital Advisors Group’s work on auction-rate securities and the rollout of FundIQ® money market fund research.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors and is Vice President and Treasurer of the Seymour H. Knox Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to arts, education, and human services organizations. Ben also serves on the Board of Directors for the Waterfowl Research Foundation. Additionally, from 1999-2008 he served on the Finance Committee and was a Co-Chair of the Investment Sub-Committee of Ducks Unlimited, Inc., one of the country’s largest conservation organizations.
Prior to founding Capital Advisors Group, Ben was a Vice President in the money market center at The Boston Company and held various positions at Fidelity Investments.
Ben earned a B.S. degree in business management from Ithaca College.
