Capital Advisors Group was founded more than 33 years ago with a focus on providing institutional cash management, risk management, and debt finance consulting solutions to CEOs, CFOs, treasury teams, and founders at dynamic public, private, nonprofit, and educational organizations. Our focus on cash investments, independence as a firm, and bespoke client solutions contribute to what we believe are better long-term outcomes.

Our experienced team of portfolio managers, credit analysts, traders, and operations managers are exclusively focused on cash investments and seek to act as an extension of your finance team. We provide custom separately managed account (SMA) solutions that are designed to help safeguard your cash balances. We work with you to create a portfolio based on your unique investment policy statement (IPS) objectives and seek to protect principal, deliver liquidity, and maximize risk-adjusted returns.
Research & Technology
Our Research team is comprised of seasoned analysts working independently from portfolio managers and traders to provide comprehensive investment research and credit analysis relevant to the unique risks and challenges faced by our clients. Research team responsibilities range from evaluating credits for the Approved Credit List to proactively assessing liquidity characteristics and headline exposure of credits . Additionally, our Research team has developed the CounterpartyIQ® platform, our proprietary credit risk system, to augment our fundamental risk analysis by providing proprietary credit scores and monitoring the credit risk of individual securities and entire portfolios.
